We built it for ourselves first
Todai Contracts started as our own tool. We lacked a contract system that understood master agreements, work orders and projects — so we built one.
Who we are
Todai is a Danish AI consultancy. We help companies use AI for what actually moves the needle day to day — and we sell hours and projects ourselves, just like our customers do.
We sit together at our office in Carlsberg Byen in Copenhagen — AI Solution Managers, data scientists and adoption consultants. We don't do projects for our customers, but together with them.
That means we know the paperwork from the inside: agreements that need rewriting, signatures that drag on, and archives no one can navigate. Todai Contracts is the answer to our own problem.
We needed it ourselves
We started with templates in a word processor and a folder in the cloud. It held up until the first master agreement got its third work order.
The large contract systems were built for legal departments with their own processes. The small e-signature tools could send a PDF, but knew nothing about what was in it.
We wanted both: control over the content and a signature that just works — without requiring a six-month implementation.
So we built it. First for ourselves, then for the consultancies and agencies who asked if they could use the same thing.
We don't build for everyone
Todai Contracts is made for small businesses that sell hours and projects: agencies, consultancies, advisors and service businesses. If you need a system for thousands of procurement agreements in a large corporation, better options exist than us.

Three things the system is built on
It has to fit reality
Master agreements, work orders, amendments and extensions are all connected. The system is built around that connection — not around loose PDF files.
It has to be fast to use
A contract should be created and sent in minutes. Anything that doesn't help with that has been cut away.
It has to hold up to scrutiny
Signatures, logs and archives must be documentable afterwards. Security and traceability aren't an add-on.
The agreement between us
We promise to keep the system simple, straightforward and quick to get started with. You promise not to send any more contracts as PDF attachments.
