In short

We do not use cookies for statistics, analytics or marketing. There is no tracking on our website, and we therefore do not ask you for consent either.

In fact, Todai Contracts does not set any cookies at all. To keep you logged in, we store an encrypted login token as well as a few display settings in your browser's local storage. This is not used for tracking or marketing, and it is deleted when you log out or clear your browser data.

The rules on cookies also apply to this kind of local storage, and we therefore inform you about it here — but since the storage is purely technically necessary, it does not require consent.

What are cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser and sent along each time you visit a website. Local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) is another way of storing information in your browser; the information stays in the browser and is not automatically sent anywhere.

No cookies and no local storage are used on our public website. We do not use Google Analytics, no advertising networks, no pixels and no third-party scripts that set cookies.

The application at contracts.todai.ai

Todai Contracts sets no cookies. When you log in, the following is stored in your browser's local storage:

Login token (localStorage)
Keeps you logged in and confirms your identity on each lookup, so others cannot see your data. Contains access and refresh tokens. The access token is refreshed automatically, typically every hour; the storage is deleted when you log out or clear your browser data. Set by Todai Contracts.

Login destination (localStorage)
Remembers the page you were on your way to, so you are redirected there after login. Deleted immediately after login. Set by Todai Contracts.

Display settings (localStorage)
Remembers your choices in the user interface, for example sorting of the customer list. Stored until you clear your browser data. Set by Todai Contracts.

Scroll position (sessionStorage)
Remembers where on the page you were when you navigate back within the app. Deleted when you close the tab. Set by Todai Contracts.

None of the above is used for tracking, statistics or marketing, and none of it is shared with third parties.

Payment and signature at third parties

During payment, Stripe's payment window is displayed, and identification for signature with MitID is carried out by our signature provider. These services may set their own, technically necessary cookies on their own domains while the window is displayed. They are described in the providers' own cookie policies.

The signing page

When a recipient opens a link to sign a contract, no cookies are set. No tracking of the recipient takes place beyond the logging shown in the contract's audit trail, which forms part of the documentation of the signature.

How to delete the storage

You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings, or simply log out, which removes the login token. If your browser blocks all local storage, you will not be able to log in to Todai Contracts.

Changes

If we at some point add cookies or other storage for statistics or marketing, we will obtain your consent first, and this page will be updated with a new date.
